The Big Eat 2021: Welcome Back Edition

The Big Eat returns July 22 to support independent restaurants with city-wide food & beverage experiences.

Since its inception 10 years ago, The Big Eat has celebrated Denver’s vibrant and dynamic independent restaurant scene, and this year, it will be even more special: a day that supports the city’s hospitality community after a devastating 16 months of heavy COVID-19 restrictions and limited capacity.

While the mission of The Big Eat has not changed – to support local restaurants and EatDenver, a nonprofit focused on connecting, educating, and advocating for the independent restaurant community – logistics will look a little different this year. Instead of hosting one tasting event, each participating Denver-area restaurant will create a special dining or bar experience just for The Big Eat that can be enjoyed on-site at the restaurant.

More details below. Cheers and thank you for your support of Denver's independent restaurants!

By participating in one of the experiences around the city, you'll be supporting a local restaurant and EatDenver, a nonprofit focused on connecting, educating, and advocating for our independent restaurant community. Some dining and beverage experiences will be ticketed, with a percentage of each purchase benefiting EatDenver. Other participating locations will dedicate a percentage of sales back to EatDenver.

Guests can take part in The Big Eat at participating restaurants in several ways, including:
